Rakhi was born out of a need for better and quicker communication between Care Environments, such as nursing homes, and the families of the Residents within those facilities. Rakhi is now the first communication that allows information about their loved one to be available right at their fingertips.
When a person is admitted to the facility or any current family wants the App they can simply download if from the app store; once they fill out the proper forms from the facility, they can receive the app.
RAKHI has been developed to solve the communication gap between the families and the facility and to streamline communication between the two. It does this by:
-Pulling relevant information from the facility Electronic Medical Record (EMR) about the resident and placing it on the app.
-The relevant info is in the form of resident vitals along with meal intake and resident outputs and other info.
-There is a personal notes section which will include resident information (including specific requests from family member about their loved one)
-Family Members will also be able to be notified of facility updates, facility activities, etc. so that family members will be updated daily on how their loved one’s day is going
Having this info at the finger tips of the families will cut down on the antiquated communication of phones or emails.
